Involved in community regeneration for over 20 years and is currently employed as the Trust Director of The Resurgam Community Development Trust, worked for the past 20 years within the Third Sector in Lisburn and was a founding member of Resurgam’s six social enterprise companies. Adrian chairs Lisburn PSP an organisation that is rooted in community safety and transformation. Adrian represents Resurgam on Lisburn and Castlereagh’s PEACE IV Partnership and currently chairs Early Intervention Lisburn.
Denis Paisley is the Regeneration Manager for The Resurgam Community Development Trust which advocates on behalf of Resurgam’s 32 member groups to deliver long term benefits within community. Denis is a Director of Laganview Enterprise Centre and Lisburn Community Self Build and sits on the committee of Old Warren Community Association. He is a community representative on Lisburn Surestart and Early Intervention Lisburn and oversees local interventions within community, especially under-represented groups. He and has a professional experience spanning over twenty years which includes Youth and Community Work and Sustainable Investment, both accredited at University of Ulster.
Social Economy Business Manager
Jason has been the Social Economy Business Manager with Resurgam Community Development Trust for a number of years now and has worked within the social economy business sector for over 20 years. Jason mentors and manages the existing management structures across all our Social Enterprises. He is also a volunteer director of 3 further SE businesses.
Administration and Finance Officer
Sharon has worked within the Community and Voluntary sector for over the past 20 years shes a founding member and director of our very successful New Horizons Credit Union. Sharon also plays an active part in the County Antrim Zone of the Ulster Federation of Credit Unions. In her day job she manages the administration and finances of a number of Resurgam’s key projects and initiatives.

Youth Training Officer
Alison has worked within the community/voluntary sector for over 25 years, and her field of experience includes youth work, community development and community safety. Alison is currently employed as the Youth Training/Support Officer to deliver Resurgam Trusts Empowering Youth Programme, funded by the Big Lottery. Alison is also a fully qualified trainer and delivers accredited qualifications under Highfield and OCN awarding bodies, she also holds the position of safeguarding supervisor for Resurgam Trust, in which she is responsible for the delivery of safeguarding training to all our staff and volunteers, and the implementation of Resurgam Trusts safeguarding policies and procedures.
During the past seven years Alison has accomplished a BSc Hons in Communication with Counselling and is currently studying a MSc in Counselling and Therapeutic Communication with Professional Practice, and will work on placement with Resurgam Trusts Healthy Living Centre as a student counsellor.
Healthy Living Manager
Gillian has worked in the field of health promotion, health improvement and public health for about 20 years. Having spent the majority of her professional career working in the NHS in Scotland Gillian returned to Northern Ireland to focus on community health improvement with a specific focus on health inequalities and addressing the social determinants of health. Gillian has been an advisor the The Resurgam Board in a voluntary capacity before taking up post as the Healthy Living Manager in 2013.
Angela joined the Resurgam Trust in November 2015, she is responsible for the administration of a number of areas within the Trust which includes Resurgam Youth Initiative, Resurgam Healthy Living Centre and Early Intervention Lisburn. Amongst other elements Angela is also trained in First Aid, Child Protection and Health and Safety.
Peace IV Women’s Coordinator
Jodie joined Resurgam Trust in January 2018 she is the coordinator for our EU’s PEACE IV Programme, which is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Over the years Jodie has been involved in a number of youth groups, women’s groups including the local school’s PTA. She is a great supporter of young people and in particular enjoys encouraging women to learn new skills and push themselves beyond their comfort zones
